There were two things you could always count on with Eric Dooley during his days at Fortier High School in Uptown New Orleans. 'He was always going to dress sharp and he was always going to have his hair cut,' said Maurice Hurst, one of Dooley's teammates at Fortier. Hurst was two grades behind Dooley and, like most of the kids at Fortier, looked up to him. So when Dooley came to school with his fresh haircut accented with a part and waves, Hurst wanted that look, too. It was time for Hurst to get rid of the afro he had been sporting all of his life.
