Hurst L.D. Bell three-star linebacker Trey Wilson is joining one of the nation's premier track and field programs. He will also have a chance to play football in college. Wilson announced Wednesday that he has committed to Texas Tech, which finished ninth at last year's NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Texas Tech won the national team title in 2019. For some, the path to college is smooth. For others, a long, bumpy road.
