There are plenty of reasons to be excited for the upcoming UND basketball seasons. On the women's side, the Fighting Hawks add prized recruits Rakiyah Beal and Nakiyah Hurst to the mix.UND women's basketball team was a pleasant surprise last season, increasing their win total from two to 15 and finishing with a .500 record. Those highly-touted freshman have the Hawks optimistic about the season.'They have added a lot both on and off the court,' said senior guard Maggie Mason. 'They are really great teammates and fun to be around.
